Privacy statement

Who is responsible?
Bij Bagijn (sole proprietorship of Wart Bagijn), registered with the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 42168660, is responsible for processing personal data via this website. You can reach me at info@bijbagijn.nl.
What data do I process?
When you fill in the contact form or send me an e-mail, I process the data you provide: your name, your e-mail address, your organisation if you enter it, and the content of your message.
Please do not include any client information in your message.
What do I use it for?
Only to answer your question and, if you wish, to arrange an introduction or supervision. The legal basis is your request for contact (steps prior to entering into an agreement) and my legitimate interest in replying to messages.
If we start working together, I also use the data needed for our agreements and for invoicing. Invoices are subject to a statutory retention period of seven years.
How does the contact form work?
The form sends your message as an e-mail to my business mailbox, and sends you a confirmation with a copy of your message. The website itself does not store your message. To prevent misuse of the form, an unreadable (hashed) version of your IP address and e-mail address is kept for at most one hour and then deleted automatically. The website and mailbox are hosted by STRATO in Germany, within the European Union. I have a data processing agreement with STRATO.
How long do I keep your data?
Messages that do not lead to working together are deleted no later than one year after our last contact.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use cookies, trackers or visitor analytics. Fonts and images are hosted on the website itself; no data is shared with third parties such as Google.
As with any website, the hosting provider may temporarily record technical data such as IP addresses in server log files to keep the website secure and available.
Sharing with others
I do not sell your data or share it with others, except where needed for hosting (STRATO) or where required by law.
Your rights
You may access, correct or delete your data, and you can object to its use. To do so, send an e-mail to info@bijbagijn.nl. I will respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied with how I handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
Changes
I may update this privacy statement. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
